Saltney Ferry Shuttle Bus Service

Saltney Town Council and Flintshire County Council have worked in partnership to provide a much-needed bus service for our residents who live over the railway bridge in Saltney Ferry.

Saltney Town Council has gone into matched funding in with Flintshire County Council to the new Demand Responsive Transport service, with a minibus for residents, which will take them to the main bus route on the main Chester Road, and for two day per week (Tuesday and Thursday) provide a return service to Morrisons and Broughton Retail Park.

This matched funding between Saltney Town Council and Flintshire County Council shows an excellent example of working together to help provide support to our local communities.

Attached are photos of some our residents and Councillor Richard Lloyd using the bus services.

If you have any questions or would like any further information please contact, Tracey Brown, Town Clerk, Saltney Town Council, 01244 398829 townclerk@saltneytowncouncil.gov.uk or the Local Ward Member, Councillor Richard Lloyd, t.r.lloyd@hotmail.co.uk
